Lancaster - Purchasing Assistant
We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our Purchasing Team based at our head office in Lancaster.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a purchasing role, a proficiency with computer and web based systems, and have excellent communication and organisational skills in order to work well as a team and liaise with our suppliers and internal sales teams.
Skills:

- good verbal and numerical reasoning
- organised and a keen eye for detail
- time management
- ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- proficient with computer and web based systems, including Microsoft Office
- prepared and willing to support the team with any and all other necessary tasks, e.g. stock taking
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- purchasing of stock
- place orders to deadlines to maintain stock levels
- book incoming stock onto our stock management system
- communicate with suppliers regarding orders, stock availability, lead times, etc.
- liaise with our internal sales team regarding order/stock queries
- support the team with any and all other necessary tasks, e.g. stock taking
Experience within the automotive industry may be an advantage but not essential. Full systems training will be provided.
Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday. Saturday work may be required and would be paid at an overtime rate
Holidays: 22 days plus bank and public holidays
Pension: Auto Enrolment Scheme
Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
Penrith - Parts Adviser
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking person to join the team at our Penrith branch as a Parts Adviser.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the motor trade, a familiarity with vehicle mechanics and computer systems, and have the skills to deal with customers face to face or over the phone in an efficient and courteous manner.
Skills:

- commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- good verbal and numerical reasoning
- a keen eye for detail
- key skills in computing are essential, including web systems
Responsibilities:
- inbound and outbound calls to customers
- helping to serve customers at our trade counter
- ordering, invoicing and taking payments
- providing quotations
Either experience in a similar role within the motor industry or mechanical knowledge/experience are required. Full systems training will be provided.
Hours: 42.5 hours Monday to Friday and including alternate Saturdays
Holidays: 22 days plus bank and public holidays

Pay: Competitive based on knowledge/experience
