Founded in 1965, EK Motor Factors Ltd. is the premier independent car parts distributor in the North Lancashire & South Lakes area.

 

 

 

In 1963 our founder, Eric Kitchen, set to work: by day he visited local car and commercial vehicle repairers in his little van, collecting their worn out brake shoes. By night he toiled in his modest workshop replacing the brake linings. The finished article was returned the very next day and by 1965 EK Brakes was established and in business.   

 

Over time Eric was asked to help source other spare parts and as his reputation grew the company evolved - EK Motor Factors was born. 

 

With over 55 years trading, EK Motor Factors Ltd. has become known to our customers simply as EK's. Operating a fleet of over 85 vans delivering from our Lancaster, Barrow, Blackpool, Kendal and Penrith branches we offer an unparalleled service making over 1,500 deliveries a day. 

 

EK's remains a family run company which is now spearheaded by Managing Director Anthony Kitchen, who continues to source and supply an ever increasing range in order to support the growing needs of our customers.
